Iziz
Iziz was the only city on Onderon, and served as the planet's capital. It was built with high walls to keep out the dangerous beasts native to the planet. Its defenses included turret towers, which were built during a time when the Beast Riders were at odds with the people of Iziz.

Royal Palace

The Iziz Royal Palace was home to the royalty of Onderon in the city of Iziz. It was accessed by the Sky Ramp, which connected directly to the Merchant Quarter.

The Palace has two main wings with the Grand Throne Room in the center. One wing houses the Iziz museum, which has ancient artifacts dating back centuries. The other wing has an assortment of common rooms as well as a security center.

Araal

*The Aurek Strikefighter from the Ecliptic races down from orbit and heads directly for the Royal Palace. It swings around the Palace and a communication channel patches into the Aurek's systems and a stern voice comes over the comm.*

::Unidentified Republic Vessel, you have entered restricted airspace. You are commanded to break off from your flight pattern immediately.::

*Araal reaches over and presses the key to respond. She knew her way around a starfighter, her master had made it a point of her training - Ma'tien was a leading General in the war effort against the Sith and as such he felt it necessary for her to learn not just the basics but the specifics of space combat, starship maneuvering, and vessel design specifications.*

"This is Jedi Commander Araal requesting emergency landing clearance at the Palace. I request asylum."

*There is a pause on the other end of the comm, obviously it was a response that the royal guard had expected. A moment passes and Araal loops the Aurek around once more. Then there is a softer female voice that responds over the comm. Araal recognizes it as Queen Talia's.*

::You may land your vessel, young Jedi. And we will discuss your request.::

"Thank you, my lady."

*Araal brings the shuttle around as large ornate doors to the royal palace hangar grind open. The Aurek Strikefighter twists sideways and fits through the small opening and then sets down in the center of the hangar beside the Queen's royal yacht. The cockpit swings up and open and Araal Force Jumps out and onto the hangar deck where a group of royal guards have already entered from the adjoining corridor.*

"Commander Araal, I am General Kadron. I have been instructed to bring you to the queen."

"Thank you General Kadron."

*The General leads Araal with a small contingent of royal guardsmen to the main audience chamber. After walking a short distance through the curving corridor they reach a set of double doors and walk through a large foyer before reaching the actual throne room. Upon the throne is Queen Talia. Araal only is lead halfway into the room before being stopped by the General and she bows respectfully to the Onderon Queen.*

"My queen, thank you for seeing me. I realize that this is a strange request. But these are strange events, and I do not know who else to turn to. My queen, the Republic has turned on us... on the Jedi."
